Christopher “Chris” Hiram Himan Sr., 61, of Pahoa died July 22 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a former parts delivery driver for Orchid Isle Ford, former county parks maintenance worker, self-employed farmer and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 6) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Graveside committal service 9 a.m. Monday (Aug. 7) at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. JoAnn Yukie Mizuba, 56, of Hilo died July 18 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a cook at Isles Café, Hilo Jaycees rooster, member of Hawaii Association for Family &Community Education and Hilo Lions Club. Services held. No koden (monetary gifts).
